Please mind that every move is individual. Time and speed of the move depends on different factors such as stairs, elevators, walking distance and general accessibility of the place. So we can give you only estimate time of how long your move can take.
If the street parking by your building is an issue and there is no special loading dock or loading zone, please reserve a parking space of not less than 25 ft for our truck.
Please pack all the small miscellaneous items in boxes, wrap any fragile items in paper or bubble wrap and box it. Put heavy stuff in small boxes and light stuff in large boxes. Label all the boxes so the movers could properly arrange them at your new place.
Please empty all the dressers, night stands and chests prior the move. We move only empty furniture. We are not responsible for any damages of the stuff left inside the furniture.
Movers carry all the necessary tools and equipment for a proper move, but if you like you may take apart the beds, sectional couches or some other bulky furniture in advance to make your move faster.
Please keep away children and pets from the moving area. Movers can stop the work if kids and pets are on the way. Safety first!
Please do not ask the movers to take their shoes off before entering your new place. It is against our safety rules.
Movers can disconnect your appliances for the move but they don't hook them up. Leave this job to your plumber or gas company for your own safety.
We charge extra for extra-heavy items like upright pianos, grand pianos, gun safes, large tool chests, bath tubs, etc. Price depends on the walking distance, amount of steps and general accessibility of the place.
According to the PUC of California Double Driving Time will be applied if the distance between your locations is more than 7 miles. E.g. if the driving time between your old address and new address is 30 min, 1 hr of driving time will be charged.
We do not move animals, flammables, hazardous materials and chemicals e.g. gas, propane, acids, etc according to safety rules.
Please do not rush or abuse movers. They work at the speed and pace appropriate to perform your move in a safe and professional way.
Please provide our movers with some water. It is hot outside and moving is not an easy job. The crew will really appreciate that.
Our service area includes 25 miles within zipcode 90028. In case your location is over 25 miles from 90028, gas fee of $2 per mile will be applied upon arrival. E.g. if your location is 37 miles away from 90028, an arrival fee of $74 will be added to your final bill.
For all hourly moves in the State of California, moving companies are required to charge double drive time. The actual CPUC law is written as follows: 'the time used shall be the total of loading, unloading and double the driving time from point of origin to point of destination.' In other words, if the distance between your locations is more than 7 miles, Double Driving Time will be applied.
Customer is always responsible for the parking tickets the moving crew might get during the move. To avoid any parking tickets or any other issues connected to parking, it is up to the customer to reserve a parking lot of not less than 30 feet for the moving truck as close to the building entrance as possible beforehand. If your building does have a loading dock, please reserve it with the building management in advance.
The company is not responsible for any damages of the items handled by the customer or personal injuries of the customer or any third party members not affiliated with our employees due to their voluntary decision to help the moving crew to move items.
